Ellis Barker Hipping Hall’s Head Pastry Chef is a firm believer in creating totally tempting afternoon teas by remaining faithful to the classic combination of scrumptious savoury creations and seriously tantalising sweet treats.
A selection of freshly made ciabattas, Eccles cake tarts, scones with clotted cream and tempting damson chocolate teacakes, are among the treats on offer. All of our ingredients are all locally sourced, skilfully prepared and served fresh each day.
Our savoury treats include; Cartmel Valley smoked salmon with sheep’s yogurt, Parma ham with mustard and local cheeses with onion jam.
There are also some seriously scrumptious sweet treats, including Eccles cake tarts, tempting chocolate delice and homemade damson chocolate teacakes.
