Woodcraft Masterclass

Join us for a woodcraft masterclass, led by one of the North of England’s leading woodsmen James Mitchell.

James is an experienced woodsman, who has long been involved with the Coppicing Association teaching woodcrafts at all levels, himself the first ever product of the National Coppice Apprenticeship scheme.

During this one-day course James will start by guiding participants through the basics of traditional greenwood techniques to carve their own spoon, kneading trough or bowl.

Participants will also learn about the beauty and form of the wood they will work with and how best to create a good spoon, trough or bowl, a creation that will take pride of place in their kitchen.

Course Schedule:

Tuition starts commences at 9.30am, there’s a splendid four-course lunch, followed by further tuition until 5.30pm.

Your day includes a full day’s course tuition, lunch and all refreshments during the day for only £95
