Hipping Hall is the UK’s Best Hotel Restaurant
Hipping Hall has been crowned the UK’s Best Hotel Restaurant at the Food Awards England, a fantastic accolade for the celebrated restaurant with rooms.
On the night Hipping was also awarded Best Restaurant Hotel, North, pipping notable fellow northern establishments The Burlington at The Devonshire, The Samling and Sharrow Bay to the top spot.
The restaurant with rooms is located in a delightful collection of 15th century buildings, where Head Chef Oli Martin showcases the food and flavours of the three adjoining counties; Yorkshire, Cumbria and Lancashire.
The annual Food Awards England seek to distinguish and show appreciation to establishments and professionals in the food industry that serve brilliant dishes and help us to explore new flavours and cuisines.
The winners of the annual Food Awards England were announced last night (2nd October) at a black-tie event at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly. In the run-up to the event thousands of nominations came in from across England with the public voting for their favourites to reward the best in the English food industry.
