Dog Friendly Hotel in the Yorkshire Dales

There’s no doubt the Yorkshire Dales is a great place to bring your dog on holiday. There’s plenty of space for man’s best friend to run around and explore. With dappled woods, gently rolling valleys and high fells and an abundant supply of rivers and streams –  there’s no way that your four-legged friend will tire of exploring this beautiful place.

Being dog lovers ourselves we understand better than most that our four-legged friends really are part of the family and as such many owners like to take their dog with them on holiday.

With this in mind Hipping Hall welcomes well-behaved dogs in our five Old Stable rooms, all of which are situated in a private courtyard 200 metres from the main building. The hotel’s furry friends also have the freedom to explore the 5 acres of gardens and grounds.

Every doggy visitor receives their very own welcome pack, which includes a personalised welcome letter, a dog bed, two dog bowls (water and food) and a selection of tasty treats to help them settle in.

Our knowledgeable staff are on hand to provide a list of walks right from the hotel door, to help you make the most of your walkies…

One thing is guaranteed as soon as you step outside you will be spoilt for choice… with routes around Leck Fell, The River Lune, Barbondale, Dentdale, The Forest of Bowland, as well as Ingleton and further afield.

Now you really have no excuse not to bring your best friend away with you – so that you can both enjoy the Yorkshire Dales to their fullest!

Please note there is a restriction of two dogs per room as a maximum. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in the lounge/restaurant areas of the hotel. Please note we make no charge for service dogs. You can also rest assured that our bedrooms are cleaned to an exceptionally high standard so if you’re not a dog person you won’t even know there’s been one staying.
