Celebrate Christmas in the Yorkshire Dales

The charm and intimate nature of our 15th Century property makes Christmas at Hipping Hall very special indeed. Our three-day Christmas package revolves around plenty of good food, relaxation and bags of festive cheer…

Christmas Eve

Arrive at Hipping Hall on Christmas Eve from 3pm where the warmest welcome will await you along with a glass of mulled wine and a panettone or two to relax with in our informal lounges, feel free to meet the other guests joining us over the Christmas period.

Later that evening join us for a glass of fizz prior to dinner, leaving you with just your wine to pick for the evening to enjoy with a 4 course tasting menu prepared by Peter and his team.

Christmas Day

On Christmas morning, a hearty breakfast will be served at your leisure, this then leaves you some relaxing time to open your presents or perhaps wander through our stunning grounds, working up an appetite ready for an 8 Course Christmas Lunch.

During the afternoon, home-made treats, tea and coffee will be available. We will also be hosting a Christmas Quiz in the lounge if you fancy a little competition, the chance to win a Magnum of Champagne really might set this off as Christmas quiz of the year!

In the evening our chefs will present a wonderful buffet based supper, with trimmings and sides, a selection of cheeses and a selection of sweet treats all available for your enjoyment.

Boxing Day

After a breakfast on Boxing Day, we will be delighted to assist you in planning your day’s activities. Perhaps explore one of the many local walks from our doorstep, including a gentle stroll along the local beauty spot of Devils Bridge or a stroll up along Ruskin’s view…

Whilst on your strolls enjoy a Hipping Hall hamper, thoughtfully produced by Peter and his Team. In the evening enjoy a glass of farewell fizz, before indulging in the evening’s 4 Course Dinner.

27th December

After a lazy breakfast, it’s time to say our goodbyes to new friends and old acquaintances…

Cosy – £1750*, Superb – £1900*, Grand – £2000*, Master – £2250

All rates include dinner, overnight accommodation and breakfast for all three nights, as well as the meals and drinks detailed above and are per room per break. * Please not the package does not include wine or cocktails

Additional Nights: If you would like to stay an additional night before or after the Christmas break we would be please to offer a 10% discount for additional nights’ subject to availability.

A Provisional booking will be held for fourteen days, at which point a non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the reservation. The deposit is £750 per room. The full balance is required by the 1st of November 2022. For booking made after the 1st of November 2022 full payment is required at the time of booking.

Children: Rates for children sharing a room with two adults, including all meals in the package and use if a cot and high chair or z bed, please speak to reception for further details.

Pets: If you would like to bring a dog with you, the rate is £20 per dog per night in one of our seven dog friendly rooms.
